D1.1 The Atlas of Smart City and Standards (M8)

A geoportal providing access (on a geographical basis) to a large database of companies, RTD centres, government institutions, NGOs, associations, etc. in the various, secttorial domains. The portal will be maintained up to 5 years after the conclusion of the project. Collection of personal data will be carried on after collecting explicit consent of the stakeholders, as detailed within Section 5 on ethical issues.

Workpackage 2 - Smart City Interoperability Context

D2.1 The scope of Smart City standardization (M3, M16)

This deliverable is a publication capturing the results of T 2.1 (Definition of sectorial systems). The document present the different technological (transportation, energy, etc.) and non-technological domains (legal, cultural, societal, etc.) that relate to the concept of Smart City.


D2.3 The scope of Smart City use cases (M5)

This deliverable will capturing results of T2.2 and will present the different use cases identified for the various sectorial services and map them to the cities involved in the pilot activities of ESPRESSO.


D2.4 Details of CASSIOPEiA (M6)

This deliverable detail CASSIOPEiA, the ConceptuAL StandardS interOPErability framework, presenting the strategy followed as well as its process and business interoperability level aspects. This deliverable further detail how existing (relevant) standards from the different SDOs can be mapped on top of CASSIOPEiA.


D2.5 Gap and SWOT analysis (M9, M16)

An analysis gaps as well as of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the domain of Smart City standards.


D2.6 Interoperability Pilot deployment and test plan (M8)

A report illustrating how to deploy, run and assess the various interoperability testbeds at the different pilot sites according to the use cases identified in D 2.2.


Workpackage 3 - Smart City standards streamlining

D3.1 Cross-SDOs analysis on harmonisation of Smart City standards report (M12)

The report documents the findings of T 3.1 (Cross-SDOs analysis on harmonisation of Smart City standards) on harmonization requirements between standardisation organizations.
This deliverable was done in close collaboration with the EIP SCC Urban Platform.


D3.2 Coordinated development of high-level cross-domain standardization requirements report (M14)

The deliverable summarize European standardization activities relevant to the topic of smart cities, and reference architecture in particular. While there are only a handful of standardization projects specifically targeting IT platform standardization, it is the cross-sectoral interoperability that needs to be considered when looking at future standardization issues.

Workpackage 4 - Development of Smart City Information Framework

D4.1 Shared vocabularies for Smart City (M7)

Extensions to existing vocabularies, published in the appropriate format online.


D4.2.1 Smart City reference architecture report (M7)

Report on the high level architecture for Smart City to integrate heterogeneous data sources, processing streams and workflows and a variety of applications
This deliverable was done in close collaboration with the EIP SCC Urban Platform and is very likely to change within the next weeks.


D4.3 Products and best practices for Smart City implementations (M8)

Report on products and best practices to be used in the pilot ativities in Task 4.5.


Workpackage 5 - Business Framework

D5.1 Smart City domain strategic growth map (M7)

The document will present a long-term strategic growth roadmap of the Smart City domain. The analysis will be articulated along both horizontal (social and economic) and vertical (research and tech trends) directions.


D5.2 Future trends in economic, financing and procurement models (M9)

The document will be articulated as list of key examples in various sectorial services.


D5.3 Promotion of market opening actions (M6, 12, 18, 24)

A report illustrating the relevant activities carried on during the previous semester.


D5.4 Smart City one-stop-portal (M6, 12, 18, 24)

A section of the website from which are all relevant information on standards and Smart City will be made avaiable including, but not limited to training material, best practice documents, etc.

Workpackage 7 - Dissemination of results

D7.1 Dissemination Plan (M1, M7, M13, M19)

The deliverable 7.1 shows the Consortium’s concept to disseminate the project’s results. The dissemination plan will be updated every six months and include all new measures to expand the awareness of the project. The document contains the dissemination activities regarding additional three main aspects listed below, besides the explanation of the main dissemination strategy:

    • Dissemination tools: The overview explains the tools and measurement of success within the dissemination strategy;
    • Planned dissemination activities: The report shows an overview of already planned actions for the dissemination in the next six months;
    • Report of dissemination: The report shows what kind of dissemination actions was accomplished in the last period.

D7.2 Media Pack, Website, Web 2.0 Channels (M1, M12, M23)

A comprhensive set of dissemination elements including: logo, banner, flyer, poster, official short description, project website, social network activities

This is the project progress report including both technical and financial details on the project.


D8.2 Project charter (M1)

This is the project operational manual that describes all the processes and procedure set for the project to ensure the highest sstandards are met.


D8.3 Data Management Plan (DMP) (M6, 14, 24)

This is a report (updated yearly) required for participation in the Open Research Data Pilot in H2020, detailing to be used and generated by the project.


D8.4 Innovation report (M4, 16)

The innovation report documents the strategy for efficient organization of key innovation-related tasks.
